August 5, 2010 - With the release of John’s new album No Better Than This and a world tour on the way, some exciting changes are coming to Mellencamp.com in the next few days - new graphics, new features, and a totally fresh and updated look.

In two weeks, we plan to phase out the ClubCherryBomb.net website, thus giving fans just one place to go for news, content, tour updates and information about John and his music!

This means that some of the fan club site's content, news, message board and features will, over time, be available to all who visit Mellencamp.com, and all fans that have subscribed to our mailing list or have registered on the site will be considered “members” of Mellencamp.com. Be assured that our much-beloved ticket and contest offerings will continue through Mellencamp.com for our registered members.

Additionally, the ClubCherryBomb.net message board and webmail will also be closing so please take this message as notice that any content you wish to save from the message board or webmail should be collected now. We will be in contact with fan club members who are still paid as of August 1st about the balance of their membership.

We look forward to serving Mellencamp fans in a new, better and different way, and we are excited about all of the activity to come! Our aim is to make your Mellencamp.com experience "no better than this."
