- For the first time in 15 years, John Mellencamp will tour Australia and New Zealand with opening act Sheryl Crow. The 10-show trek starts on November 15 in Sandalford, AUS and winds down on December 7 in Christchurch, NZ. Possibly more dates will be added to the tour.
Mellencamp has sold nearly two million units in Australia over his career. He will perform his greatest hits as well as amazing new material from his brand new album "Life, Death, Love & Freedom."
Summer Tour Kicks Off in Milwaukee!

- John kicked off his Summer Tour this past Saturday at Milwaukee's famous Summerfest. John and his stellar band turned in a top-notch performance that featured many Mellencamp classics (Jack & Diane, Small Town, Authority Song, Pink Houses, Crumblin' Down and many more) along with cuts from his upcoming album Life, Death, Love and Freedom (My Sweet Love, Don't Need This Body, If I Die Sudden and Troubled Land). The reports from those in attendance said John and band were in top form and tore up the stage!

tell people how he feels, regardless of how it affects his career.God knows, it's hard enough to carve out a 30-year musical career, let alone one as a songwriter of serious intent.
But surely few have done so after such an inauspicious start as John Mellencamp.
It's fair to say that if you were taking bets 30 years ago on someone who might be inducted into a Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame in 2008, Mellencamp, or Johnny Cougar as he was then, would have had odds out in the tens of thousands.
